Countdown to iPad – Board Games (Use Case 11)

Filed under Technology + gaps + mobile

It’s family game time some night in 2009. The kids have turned off the TV and are gathered around the table in eager anticipation. That is, until the lid is removed and pieces are missing. Disappointment sets in.

Fast forward to present day. A family game night or fun date is uncomplicated and doesn’t require planning ahead. With iPad there are no missing pieces, no lost rules. A touch of the screen saves your game of Risk, Monopoly or whatever without worrying the pieces will move. iPad makes playing favorite family games on vacation possible in the car, on the plane or in the hotel and doesn’t take any extra space in your bags. So have some fun… it’s your move.

With iPad it’s out with “bored” and in with “board”.
